Female and African American Artists Continue to Ascend at Auction, a Study Finds

Price growth measured by Sotheby’s Mei Moses was consistent with the prior five seasons of New York auctions, despite the lower sale totals. Though there were fewer high-value lots on the auction block, prices for previously auctioned works showed that price growth was consistent as for prior sale seasons.
